These metal posts are used to increase the height of short fence posts/brickwalls to 2m. These posts can be attached to exhisting fence posts/brickwalls that are 1.2m - 1.7m tall. This post comes with a Standard Bracket which is attached to the top of the post to create the overhang. Predrilled holes allow mesh can be attached to the length of the post using cable ties.

Post Extenders- Cat Proof Fence
You want to install the post extender so that the top of the post is 2m from the ground.
If installing onto wooden posts, simply attach the post extender to the wooden post using three screws.
If installing onto brickwork/concrete posts, using a marker pen, mark on the wall where the holes are. Drill 6mm holes in the wall/post. Plug using red wall plugs. Attach the post extender to the wall/post using screws.
When you attach the mesh to the post, pin the mesh to the post by attaching the standard bracket on top of the mesh. Attach the bracket to the post using the nuts and bolts provided.
