  • Firstly, identify which side of the post is the 'front' by checking which side the standard bracket can be attached. This side needs to face the enclosure area.

Attach the post spike or post shoe to the bottom of the post.

If using a post spike, firstly, locate where you would like it to be installed (on grass or soil only). Rest a small piece of wood on the top of the post (to protect the paint) and using a hammer drive the post into the ground. As you hammer the post in the ground ensure the post is vertical using a level.

If using a post shoe, firstly locate where you would like it to be installed. Using a marker pen, mark on the floor where the installation holes are. If the surface is wood, screw the post shoe to the floor. You will need to use the washers provided. If the surface is concrete or paving, drill 6mm holes in the surface. Plug the holes with red wall plugs.  Then screw the post shoe to the floor. You will need to use the washers provided.

Attach the support leg to the post using the nut, bolt and washer provided. The end of the support leg should rest on ground either laterally or posteriorly depending on which direction needs the most support.

Insert the post cap in the top of the post.

When you attach the mesh to the post, pin the mesh to the post by attaching the standard bracket on top of the mesh. Attach the bracket to the post using the nuts and bolts provided.
