These Extension Brackets are used to extend short fence posts/brickwalls to 2m tall. These brackets are suitable for fence posts/brickwalls that are 1.7m-2m tall. They can also be used to increase the height to 2.3m tall if you have a tables, chairs and raised beds near the fenceline (launch points for cats). The bracket has multiple holes down its length so mesh can be attached via cable ties. The vertical attachment section is double the thickness to reinforce this area and provide stability. There are also several holes on the vertical attachment section so the bracket can be attached to the fence post/brickwall via screws.

If mounting onto wood, simply screw the bracket to the wood using 2 screws. If mounting onto brickwalls or concrete posts, use a marker pen (through the holes) to mark on the wall where you need to drill. Using a 6mm drill bit create holes where you marked. Plug the holes using red wall plugs. Then screw the bracket to the wall/post.
You want to install the bracket so that the first bend of the bracket is 2m from the ground. The first bend is the bend between the vertical 60cm section and the 70cm section.
