Snow Guidance

Cat Paw Prints Blue

In the UK we only experience snow a couple of times a year; with the snowfall being relatively light. It is quite amusing seeing our furry friends tip toeing through the new landscape, wary of the white stuff.

However, if the UK experiences more extreme snowfall, it could damage your Cat Proof Fencing. It is therefore important to be vigilant when such events occur. This is particularly true for mesh canopies.

Light snowfall poses no issues for our Cat Proof Fencing. Snow may settle on the mesh, posts and brackets creating a lovely wintery scene.

Our advice:

If snow is falling, check your fencing regularly to ensure snow is not building up. If the snow depth reaches 5cm, knock the snow off using a broom. This will prevent too much weight being applied to the fence line. Repeat this process if the snow continues to fall.
